INFORMATIVA SUL TRATTAMENTO DEI DATI PERSONALI

In accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data (EU Regulation 679/2016 eD.Lgs. 196/2003) we wish to inform you that the registration process for the conference "Living together with ambiguities. Different cultures and common values", involves the acquisition and processing of some of your personal data.

We therefore ask you to read this information.

The Data Controller is the Intercultura Onlus Foundation, with registered office in 53034 - Colle di Val d'Elsa (SI), Via Gracco del Secco 100.
The Foundation has appointed a Data Protection Officer (RPD or DPO) available at privacy@intercultura.it for any information regarding the processing of personal data by our Organization.

NATURE OF PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

The personal data concerning you, collected and processed by the Foundation, are those communicated by you by sending the application form (such as: name, surname, date of birth, sex, profession, citizenship, address of residence/domicile, telephone and computer numbers, language spoken, special dietary needs).

Some of the personal data collected and processed may fall within those defined by the EU Regulation as belonging to "special categories" (hereinafter also particular data). These are data relating to your particular dietary needs as these data may be suitable to reveal your religion, your philosophical opinions, or your state of health.

PURPOSES AND METHODS OF DATA PROCESSING

Your personal data will be processed for the formalization of your registration to the conference " Living together with ambiguities. Different cultures and common values ", for the organization, planning and implementation of the conference, as well as for the performance of related administrative activities.

In relation to the above mentioned purposes, the processing of data by the Foundation will be in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, correctness, transparency, adequacy, relevance and necessity as per art. 5, paragraph 1 of EU Regulation 679/2016, by means of manual, computerized and telematic tools in a relevant and limited to what is necessary with respect to the purposes for which they are processed and, in any case, so as to ensure maximum security and confidentiality and always in full compliance with current legislation. The Foundation will take all measures to promptly rectify inaccurate data with respect to the purposes for which it is processed.

LEGAL BASIS OF THE TREATMENTS

Your personal data, including special data, will be processed by virtue of your express consent by accepting this information notice. We inform you that, even in the event of failure to grant consent or revocation of the same, your personal data may still be processed in the following cases and on the basis of the following legal bases: if the processing is necessary for the execution of a contract to which the data subject is a party or for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the same, or if the processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which the Intercultura Onlus Foundation is subject.

OBLIGATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE CONFERMENT OF DATA

Without prejudice to the autonomy of the interested party, the provision of personal data may be mandatory by law, regulation or Community legislation or on the basis of provisions issued by Authorities legitimized by law or by supervisory and control bodies, or strictly necessary for the management of the relationship between our Organization and the user.

Any opposition to the processing of data and / or refusal by the person concerned to provide personal data may result in the impossibility or refusal, in whole or in part, to manage the application for registration to the conference " Living together with ambiguities. Different cultures and common values ", as well as the impossibility to fulfill obligations provided for by laws, regulations or EU regulations, or by provisions issued by Authorities legitimized by law and by supervisory and control bodies.

SCOPE OF DATA CIRCULATION AND COMMUNICATION

For the pursuit of the above mentioned purposes, your personal data will be communicated to the employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, who operate as persons in charge of the execution of the present processing, authorized according to their role/mansion.

Your personal data may be communicated to natural or legal persons who provide consulting services or collaborate with the Foundation for the pursuit of the purposes indicated above.

These subjects will perform the function of data controller pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 28 of the Regulation, or will operate in total autonomy as autonomous data controllers.

Your data may be communicated to other public bodies if this is required by law or regulation.

The data will not be subject to disclosure.

STORAGE AND POSSIBLE TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be stored at the Foundation and may also be transferred outside the territory of the European Union.

For the transfer of such data, we ask you to give us your explicit consent, it being understood that our Organization is in any case allowed by GDPR to transfer personal data to third countries or international organizations, even without your consent, if the following conditions are met:

the transfer is permitted if the Commission has decided that the third country or international organization to which the data is transferred ensures an adequate level of protection of personal data (transfer on the basis of an adequacy decision);

the third country or international organization has provided adequate safeguards with regard to the processing of personal data, provided that the data subjects have effective rights and remedies (transfer subject to adequate safeguards);

the transfer is necessary for the execution of a contract concluded between the data subject and the data controller, or for the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject;

the transfer is necessary for the conclusion or execution of a contract concluded between the data controller and another natural or legal person in favour of the data subject;

the transfer is necessary for important reasons of public interest;

the transfer is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a right in court;

the transfer is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or other persons, where the data subject is physically or legally incapable of giving his/her consent;

the transfer is made from a register which, under Union or Member State law, is intended to provide information to the public and may be consulted by the public at large and by any person able to demonstrate a legitimate interest, only if the conditions for consultation provided for in Union or Member State law are met.

PERIOD OF RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data will be kept for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes indicated in this information notice, as well as, following the exhaustion of such purposes, until the statute of limitations of the rights arising between you and the Intercultura Onlus Foundation as a result of legal and factual relations between the parties and directly or indirectly connected to the purposes themselves.

RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

The candidate who has entered his/her personal data in the registration form can access it at any time, correct, update or delete it and exercise all the rights provided by the Applicable Regulations.

In particular, the interested party has the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of the data or to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, rectification or, if necessary, portability.

The interested party also has the right to obtain the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and to oppose, in any case, for legitimate reasons, their treatment.

Pursuant to the Applicable Regulations, the data subject has in any case the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data) if he or she believes that the processing of his or her Personal Data is contrary to current legislation.
